Siberian Husky Neuropathy is progressive and devastating. Dr. Furrow and her lab are studying the genetics of this disease. Please attend this seminar to learn more about this disease and what current research is finding out about it.

On Tuesday, September 13, 2002, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, Dr. Kurt Williams, DVM, PhD, DACVP, from Oregon State University will be giving a lecture on Spontaneous Pneumothorax in Siberian Huskies. Spontaneous Pneumothorax causes the lungs to collapse due to free air collecting in the space around the lungs. In spontaneous pneumothorax there is no apparent cause such as trauma or known lung disease. This disease is silent, quick and grave; commonly being fatal. While this disease is rare, Siberian Huskies are over-represented in the cases that do occur. Dr. Williams is leading research on this disease, please come learn about his research findings.
This presentation includes a dinner pasta bar and in-person presentation. Cost for registration is $35.00 per person.
Attending both lectures? – Cost is $50.00 per person – a savings of $5.00!
